| KEE GAD views R&D capabilities as the vital component of its business strategy that will provide the company with a long-term competitive advantage. Research is crucial to KEE GAD. The Company’s multi-disciplinary R&D centre at Naraina Industrial area houses dedicated facilities for innovative research in its areas of expertise. The R&D unit is recognized by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. KEE GAD’s major strengths and core competencies lies in the development and commercialization of highly pure diagnostic reagents for use in all kinds of auto and semi automatic analyzers; development of rapid diagnostic devices for assessing the status of the patients for various physiological conditions; manipulation of natural bio-polymers for drug delivery; development and production of recombinant therapeutics; and introduction of novel nano-medicines. The company has established collaboration with a number of institutions for developing novel biological materials and nano-medicines. The company has also interest to develop therapeutic vaccines to combat HIV infection; in this direction the company has teamed up with a reputed foreign academic institute. The company also undertakes contract research and is eager to team up with business partners for conducting research in specific areas under contractual terms.
