Volume I (January to April 2008)

Dr. P.K. Ghosh joined the company as its Managing Director.

The company has decided to initiate introduction of Bio Diagnostic Reagents & Rapid Diagnostic kits in the International Market.

Volume II (May to August 2008)

KEE GAD Biogen has acquired M/s SSA Diagnostics & Biotech Systems, Goa. The company was involved in the manufacture and sale of a wide range of diagnostics devices and clinical chemistry reagents in the country.

KEE GAD Biogen has started constructing its manufacturing premises at Naraina Phase
II, New Delhi

Volume III (September 2008 to December 2008)

1. Rapid diagnostic test batches for detecting Pregnancy and surge of LH were made.
Also manufactured were kits for detecting HIV, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, TB, Typhoid,
Dengue and Malaria were manufactured.

2. Company continues to team up with R&D Institutions for developing novel products and processes in niche areas, which include treating viral diseases, delivery of drugs
at target sites and development of nano-particles.

3. A Patent for a process for treating HIV was filled with the Indian Patent Office in Collaboration with a university in Japan.

Volume IV (January 2009 to December 2009)

1. IEC code for SSA Diagnostics & Biotech Systems received from the Government.

2. SSA Diagnostics & Biotech Systems participated in WHO’s Round 2 Malaria kits
evaluation program.

3. All plant and machinery including instruments for Production and Quality Control
work of KEE GAD Biogen installed.

4. Drug Manufacturing license for production and sale of Clinical Chemistry Reagents
received by KEE GAD from Delhi FDA.

5. An application for patenting a process for delivery of drugs to the colon by oral
route was filed by KEE GAD with the Indian patent office.

Volume V (January 2010 to September 2010)

1. ISO 9001:2008/ISO 13485:2003 for SSA Diagnostics & Biotech Systems obtained.

2. Exported goods worth over Rs. 45 lakhs by SSA Diagnostics & Biotech Systems.

3. Batch standardization including production and stability studies completed for all the
licensed items of KEE GAD.
